Time to cut that Urban Decay Primer in half again...

Never again will I buy this cute genie bottle primer!  It has adorable packaging, but its extremely annoying.  I have to literally cut it in half with a saw just to get the much wasted product that so kindly collects on the sides.  I should never have to work this hard just to get primer on my lids.  I know this is blah blah old ancient news, but I decided since this is the last time I will be owning urban decay primer in one of these curvy bottles I might as well take pictures and show you guys my way of saving the primer that gets stuck in there

I will try a Too Faced or Benefit primer after I finish using all of this.  I mean omg.. this is gonna last me a while!  I think Urban Decay finally realized their mistake and that is why they started making their primers in squeezable tubes.  What is your favorite face or eyeshadow primer? x)

Edit 12/28/12: So this storage system made the primer dry out after about six months /: had to throw the rest out.  What a waste. lol  However, I just recently purchased the Eden Primer Potion from Urban Decay in the newer squeeze tubes.  I have a feeling I'm going to like it better XD

Review - Stila liner

This eyeliner is awesome! I just finished my Maybelline Eyestudio gel liner and to be honest it was not very good..  although it did last a very long time (about a year).  I wanted to share this review with you guys.

Here are some of reasons why I love the Stila gel liner:

Stays on all day without powder or shadow.

Goes on rather smoothly.
Once it dries it doesn't smudge. 

It is well pigmented!  

It doesn't fade. 

The packaging is huge..! 

It will last me at least 2 years.

I am a gel liner addict.  This is my 4th gel liner and so far its the best! I use the Mac 210 brush to apply my liners.  However, I did want to try the Make-up For Ever Aqua Creamliner, but they did not have that in stock so I guess I will have to try that next time.  If you are shopping around for a great liner this is definitely one that you should try!  I've tried the Mac Fluidline in blacktrack and it was okay, but it kept smearing onto my upper lid after a few hours even when I used primer and shadow.  I was not very impressed.  Oh, and don't even get me started on the drug store gel liners!  Anyways, back to the subject... I've read some reviews on MUA that the Stila liner will dry out after a few months.. but I guess we'll see what happens.  After all, if it does dry out, all you have to do is take a wet q-tip and wipe off the dried up layer -- and you're good to go again. haha. Edit 12/28/12:  Ok so I'm over the whole gel liner thing now.  Liquid liner is where its at XD  It is more pigmented, stays longer, looks darker which is what I like.  My favorite is the Revlon Colorstay Liquid Liner in blackest black, but they always seem to be out of stock with that one so I recently go the L'oreal Paris Telescopic liquid liner.  So far it seems to be pretty good.  I got the waterproof one and the regular one.  I use my Mac 210 liner brush and it is amazing! <3

How to find your foundation & concealer shade

As we all may already know, finding the right foundation shade for your skin tone is extremely important.  If it doesn't match your skin then using it would just be a waste of time, effort, and money.  Here are some simple tips on how anyone can find their perfect shade.

** Ok, I can't believe I wrote this much about finding the right foundation, lol, so I shortened it a bit, but basically to save you the trouble just remember that you want your foundation to match your chest or neck not always your face.  Sometimes the face naturally pulls more red or lighter etc.  A more neutral toned foundation usually looks better on everyone becuase sometimes yellows pull too yellow and pinks pull too pink.  Just watch Wayne Goss on youtube he has some good tips.**

Tip #1: First of all, you must determine if you have a cool or warm undertone. This is the reason why Mac has both NC and NW.  NC stands for cool tones, and NW stands for warm tones. This is why I love Mac. It is so easy to pick your undertone and they have every shade from 15 being the lightest and 55 being the darkest. So how do you know which under tone you have? Well, to make it simple lets put it this way: 

Warm skin tone:
1. Look at inner wrist - veins will appear green.
2. Gold jewelry is more flattering than silver jewelry.
3. You have more yellow in your skin.

Cool skin tone:
1. Look at inner wrist - veins will appear blue.
2. Silver jewelry is more flattering.
3.You have more pink in your skin.

*Edit* Please note that Mac considers NC to have yellow tones, & NW pink tones.
Its the complete opposite.  Be careful when you are choosing your shade! when it comes to Mac stuff NC = Yellow/Warm tones and NW = Pink/Cool tones.  You will notice this if you own Mac products or try them on at the store.  Just putting it out there since a lot of people have it the wrong way.

Mac & OPI haul

So today was a mini shopping trip for me! On my last trip to the mall, I went to trade secret and got OPI Over the Taupe, OPI Tickle my France-y, and Seche Restore. Seche Restore is a nail polish thinner that helps restore your polish after it becomes cakey. I needed this since most of my old polishes were getting sticky and dried up. It actually works well! Today I had to go to the mall again and fill out an application so I ended up buying a few things xp I went back to trade secret and got "Teenage Dream" by OPI (its part of the Katy Perry collection) its a very pretty pink sparkly nail polish that i've been keeping my eyes on:

I thought it was sooooo pretty x) Its a limited addition item so you guys should get it while they're still in stores.  I also dropped by MAC and got the Baby Sparks Dazzle Glass lip gloss: 

As you can tell I really like pink ^-^ lol. After that, I stopped by Charlotte Russe and got these cute navy blue shorts:

Random Post: Masyumaro Nyanko!

I've always loved this cute sanrio character.  Hes soooo adorable! <3 If you guys know me, I lovee cats, so anything cat related like sanrio's stuff is a dream come true to me.

Actually, now that I think about it, I have a heart shaped Charmmy kitty mirror!! xD I bought it a while back with my best friend. Its super cute! I'll show you guys what it looks like. Too bad the mirror part is broken /:

Hey guys, so the purse I brought is selling on e-bay for $198. It was originally $268 and I got it for only $63 bucks. Can someone say boss status? ;D I bought it at the Juicy Couture store in waikele and the sales lady said that they brought it back, and there was only two left so of course I had to buy it. I have no idea why they were selling such a nice purse for so cheap, but it was great considering this is the first juicy couture purse I've ever bought. I usually get my purses from hot topic :P Anyways, I had fun last night shopping with my best frieeends Becka Lepeka, and Lauren Infinitee xD
